toolslink
toolslink is one of our earliest shipped apps and a small proof of a big belief: useful software doesn't have to mine you. It's a private link manager that got quietly smarter over a year and a half of updates.
The problem
Everyone hoards links — in notes apps, browser bookmarks, messages to themselves — and never finds them again. The tools that promise to fix this tend to be cloud services that read everything you save and monetize the graph. We wanted a fast, private place to save a link and actually rediscover it, with nothing leaving your device you didn't ask to leave.
Our approach
A SwiftUI app built local-first on SwiftData, with a share extension so you can save from any app in a tap. The interesting part is on-device intelligence: a bundled Core ML model plus Apple's Foundation Models auto-tag and organize links without a server round-trip. Widgets and Siri Shortcuts put saved links a glance or a phrase away, iCloud sync is optional, and there are zero analytics — no tracking, no ads, JSON export if you ever want to leave.
Where it stands
Live on the App Store since early 2025 and maintained through version 2.3 — seven-plus releases over roughly eighteen months. It funds itself with an honest tip jar rather than ads, and it's the clearest evidence that we ship and keep shipping.
